Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Biodun Fatoyinbo, on Friday, approached a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting at Bwari, adducing reasons why the suit alleging that he raped Busola Dakolo, wife of celebrity musician, Timi in 2002, should be dismissed. In a preliminary objection he filed through his team of lawyers led by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Iziyon, the embattled cleric, maintained that Busola’s suit was frivolous and statute barred. The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12, sitting at Bwari, Abuja has dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). Justice Oathman A. Musa, in giving the judgment, held that the matter amounts to injustice and an abuse of judicial process adding that the case is empty and purely sentimental. Justice Musa said that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami has urged the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to work out modalities for the reduction of the price of data in the interest of Nigerians. According to reports, Pantami said that his office has been inundated with complaints from concerned Nigerians about the high cost of data by telecoms. Pantami mandated the management of the NCC led by its Board Chairman, Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, during a courtesy visit to work out the modalities with other stakeholders in the industry in the next five working dates. The Minister said: ”I am urging the management of NCC to work towards reducing the price of data in Nigeria. It is too costly and people are complaining every day.
